Quaker Oats - GatorSource - Grain Silo
One of over 20 packaging concepts rendered for the new foods division of Quaker Oats - owners of Gatoraide. Illustrations for focus group trials of prototype foodstuffs. Line art and custom fonts were assembled in Adobe Illustrator prior to photorendering in Adobe Photoshop. Turnaround time of 2 illustrations a day. Final output to slide and 4 x 5 transparencies with internegs to 11 x 17 fujichromes. Computers used, Mac Quadra 700, 800, NeXTstation. GatorSource "Grain-Cakes" was produced with no source art apart from some loose flatbed scans of rice cakes and frozen vegetables.
